AKTO is distinguished by its constant investment in the teaching infrastructure. Today AKTO has expanded to three campus sites:

The new main campus site is located at Pedion Areos, Evelpidon 11A. It is about the most modern campus, of a 5,500 sq. m. which was built according to AKTO's specifications.

Amongst others, it includes a 130 persons amphitheatre, a 160 sq. m. permanent gallery, a 170 sq. m. library with reading and internet stations, up to date drawing and teaching rooms, computer rooms, internet and multimedia rooms, lab rooms, dark rooms and photography studio.

Outdoor student entertainment spaces, café and supplies shop are also available.

 

 

 

AKTO's second Athens campus is a highly functional 1,700 sq. m. site in the centre of the historic district of Thiseio, beside the ancient monuments of the Acropolis, Kerameikos and the ancient Agora, where students complete their degrees.

The College's third facility is located in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki, at a really modern campus of a total 3,000 sq. m. at 38-40, 26 October Street and A. Georgiou.

 

 

Together, these three campuses offer a complete set of facilities including:

  • 400 desktop computers for classroom teaching and for use by students individually, equipped with graphic design, interior architecture, animation, fashion and photography-related software packages
  • Two product design workshops for prototype construction using plastics
  • One television studio
  • Four photography studios
  • 50 drawing and lecture rooms
  • Three libraries comprising 25,000 publications, wired and wireless internet acces
  • One fashion studio with sewing equipment and cutting facilities
  • One large theatre with a seating capacity of 150, expandable to 700
  • One permanent exhibition foyer spanning 700 sq. m.
  • Lecture rooms equipped with laptops and projectors
  • An engraving - sculpture - mosaic workshop
  • Several spacious drawing/painting studios

All of these facilities are available to students throughout the day, six days a week, including during vacation (but not on national holidays).
